4 Ways the Coleman Party Grill Loves Chocolate

Party Grill Loves Chocolate

The Coleman Party Grill Likes to Party, and It Likes Chocolate – Here are 4 More Ways to Use Your Coleman Mini Grill.

If you know me at all, you know I really like my party grill. It shows up with me even when you don’t expect it.

If you have your own Coleman Party Grill, you probably know that the more you use it, the more you realize this little guy can do.

If you haven’t yet discovered chocolate, here are some ideas:

2-Ingredient Chocolate Fondue for Grilling

Fondue Skewers

This is an awesome after-dinner treat that is fun for both kids an adults. You can dip fruit, marshmallows or plain cookies, and some people even grill their fruit first.

A basic chocolate fondue recipe for camping consists of 1 regular 12 oz bag of chocolate chips and a small 5-6 oz can of evaporated milk. Increase amounts accordingly for a larger group of people (or really hungry people).

Of course you can add different flavorings or liqueur, but if you want to keep it simple, it’s pretty easy to make. Make sure you don’t get the fondue pot too hot or your dipping sauce will turn into a burnt mess!

Roasting marshmallows on the Coleman Party Grill

Anywhere S’mores for Roadtrip Grills

This may seem like an obvious one for camping with kids over the campground fire pit – but what about an everyday summer night in the backyard, at the beach or at a local park? Because the Party Grill is so easy to use and take anywhere, you don’t really have to plan ahead or have a special even to use it – any time can be special!

The RoadTrip Party Grill is its own portable s’mores-making machine, and that makes anytime a good time have a s’more. Just make sure you have some skewers, and you’re ready to go!

Girl Holding Cup of hot Cocoa

Road Trip Party Grill Pot-o-Hot Cocoa

Hot cocoa with marshmallows may be just as fun for kids as the s’mores! Make it with warm milk, and it can help settle them down at night much better than a few cookies. Add some whiskey or rum to make a really warm adult after-dinner drink.

The party grill comes with a burner top, on which you can heat a large pot of hot cocoa for everyone. It’s very little work and not much clean up for a great dessert that people don’t usually have.

Mini Chocolate Chip Pancakes on the Party Grill

With a pan, these are quick an easy to make. Rather than try to figure out how to bake chocolate chip cookies or fudge brownies on the barbecue, why not bring along a box of pancake mix and throw in some chocolate chips? Treat them like a dessert and have them after dinner or as an afternoon snack on a cold day. Mmmm.

Add some chopped nuts too if you want. Make them mini-sized so that people can hold them in their hands or in a napkin without having to use a fork and a plate. Add less liquid to the mixture for a more dense treat, and one that is easier to grab onto. By the way, you can also try this on your RoadTrip LXE too.
